Following are just some of the publishers with which Boneem has trade agreements. If you don't see a specific publisher on here from which you desire materials, please don't assume that no relationship exists with that publisher. Even if we don't presently have a trade agreement with a publisher, it is a small thing to establish one. Although most of the publishers listed below deal largely in Christian materials, Boneem also has many trade agreements with publishing houses that produce many useful materials even though these materials may not be specifically Christian in focus.

WHAT KIND OF PRICING IS AVAILABLE?

Boneem does receive wholesale rates from most publishing houses. As a rule, if you are only seeking a single copy of a particular book, you will likely get just as good of a price from one of your local discount book houses. However, if you are ordering several copies (3 or more, depending on the publisher), even if it is single units but different titles and all from the same publisher, we can usually beat just about any price. Some titles we can even obtain at ENORMOUS discounts when ordered by the case. On some occasions we can order 40 copies for what it would cost to buy 10 or 15 in the store.

Boneem does not keep an inventory on hand, except for about a dozen different titles dealing with parenting, communication, some self-help texts, some creation science books, and a few other titles. So, for the most part, anything you order will be direct ordered from the publisher and drop shipped to you.

The pricing we receive on various media depends on several factors including such things as how many pieces are being ordered from that publisher, and what are the terms of our agreement with that publisher. We also have a couple of book distributors (as opposed to publishers) with whom we have trade agreements. These distributors do not usually give us as large of a discount as dealing directly with the publishers allows us. However, if you have a "mixed bag" of titles from different publishers and only one or two pieces of each title, often times we can still get real good prices through the distributors.

Boneem does not "sell" books. We provide a service to ministries, classes, and to individuals. We will tell you exactly what your order costs us and we will only ask that you consider making a donation to Boneem's ministries over and above the actual cost of your materials. What that means is that we will provide the literature to you at wholesale cost, plus shipping and in return all we ask is that you consider supporting Boneem's work. Read on for an example of how you can do this.

Boneem International is a 501c3, all volunteer, non-profit agency. Boneem has no paid staff. A volunteer will be the one investing his/her time to place your order. Again, all we ask in return is that you be fair in your dealings with us. Example: If you order 10 copies of a $10 book and Boneem can obtain that order for you for $50-70, we would ask that you consider the possibility of supporting one of Boneem's on-going works with the difference (please visit the other pages of our web site to learn more about these projects). However, in the event you choose not to remit anything more than the actual cost of the order, Boneem will never fault you nor reject you. As long as we have volunteer help to place the orders and as long as we have the trade agreements with the publishers, we will be pleased to pass the service along to those who can benefit from it.

HOW TO SUPPORT BONEEM INTERNATIONAL

Providing low cost literature is only one service that Boneem provides. We encourage you to peruse other parts of our web site and learn more about the international scope of Boneem's service and educational outreach. Even though Boneem is presently an all volunteer agency (including the Exec Director), we hope to some day be able to support a few staff people. Please consider making Boneem part of your charitable giving.

Boneem's web site is equipped to receive your tax deductible donation on-line simply by clicking on the Helping.org icon on this page. Your credit card transaction will be conducted through a secure link and your donation will be direct deposited into Boneem's account.

Additionally, Boneem is presently seeking donors willing to give undesignated contributions. As always, we are willing to accept designated gifts for any of the projects and programs that we have listed on this site. Presently, over 95% of Boneem's present support comes in designated for specific projects. This is a good thing in some ways. However, it does make it very difficult for Boneem to tend to some of its "incidental" expenses (i.e. annual fees to the State Corporation Commission, maintaining a web site, storage space rental for humanitarian supplies, etc) or to expand its capabilities. As well, presently, Boneem is in donated office space, but that may not always be the case.

If you own your own business and you would like to add an employee to your payroll---an employee for Boneem International---please contact us directly and we will map out how your commitment to a specified period of support (i.e. two years) could greatly help Boneem move toward having a full time staff. All donations are acknowledged immediately. Additionally, at the end of each year Boneem sends out a year-end summary of donations received during that year. Boneem operates on a calendar year.
